Jumps into water are among the rare and difficult ones, but the experience superior. These jumps are conducted circa once a year and often united with a promotional jump at the BALOON SHOW PLZEŇ. The venue: ČESKÉ ÚDOLÍ WATER BASIN.
During these jumps, it is necessary to have a water rescue ready in boats and many on-the-ground preparations.
It is a more difficult jump, during which the parachutist wears a neoprene and is equipped with a lifejacket.
We use the OVP-68 parachute. After you jump out of the airplane, you drive the parachute to the landing zone and right before landing you throw off the canopy. After falling into the water, a water rescue will arrive, getting you to a shore.
Then comes the most difficult part of the day. Drying the parachute, including the backup ones. That takes the most of the time.
